We couldn’t control our excitement when we discover this beard cap, by Vík Prjónsdóttir. Oh My! Mustache! We exclaimed! Turns out it was featured in Dwell, so some of ya’ll might have seen it there.Our excitement grew to all out aw when we visited the Vík Prjónsdóttir web site. They are one of the oldest and most well known knitwear producers in Iceland. All the products are made of 100 % Icelandic sheep wool. A combination of fibers that result in a wool that is warm, light weight and water-repellent. It is a unique and sustainable source.They also carry some must have items like this twosome blanket. Much of their product is based on folklore, and Icelandic traditions. They say that “In earlier times, it was a custom in many unheated homes to share beds to stay warm, and even with visiting strangers as a gesture of hospitality. People would lay side by side in the opposite direction to one another to keep each other warm.”You can purchase their products from Scandinavian Grace.
