Yes, it’s a new cimarosa dress! The last two styles were such popular sellers that we made a few more, in a modern stripe woven cotton. I’ve also added size XL, which is a win for all sizes because it really just means greater size range. I’m rather fond of the stripe fabric, and I hope you like it too.

There’s something about Jen McCabe that just makes me feel like I’ve known her for years, (maybe it’s her awesomeness) anyway, I forgot she’s a reporter and I spilled all sorts of embarrassing facts about myself, then she printed them in Oregon Live. Oh Well! now the cats out of the bag.

Summers just getting started and I have a few more dresses to add to the collection. I’m calling it “second summer”, I had a great photo shoot this weekend with Cheryle, I think you guys are gonna love what came of it. Look for the new dresses to arrive in the shop in a couple of weeks.
Portland Monthly recently interviewed Leanne Marshall, project runway winner, about what she’s up to now. It seems as if she’s plotting a move away to the big apple. Before leaving town Leanne was kind enough to add Makool to her short list of favorite Portland designers. I couldn’t be more honored, we are going to miss you around here Leanne, good luck out there.
