my new bff

kittens
Some of you may recall I lost two of my B.F.F’s last summer, when my cat Pontoon died of heart disease and then my dog Zoe had to be put to sleep all in the same month. I have a thing for Devon Rex cats they are so smart, funny and personable, not to mention soft and cuddly. In my experience they are really nothing like other cats, I’ve had two of them in my life.

Devon Rex cats are very rare breed, and they are not easy to find. Lucky for me I found a breeder not far away in Tumwater, WA. I fell in love with one of her cats, a rainbow spotted darling named Tinkerbell. It just so happened that she was mating with Paul Newman, and to make a long story short… did you know it only takes nine weeks for kittens to be made? Yes, I’m fully aware that I’m walking a fine line of “crazy cat lady”.

Born just a few days ago were seven kittens, and I get first pick. Somewhere in that pile of cuteness is my new B.F.F.
