Lika Volkova of SANS, is most definitely a pioneer of “sustainable” clothing, even though there really is no such thing. In this video she succeeds in saying many things I’ve been thinking, and then she really does something about it!

I like the way her brain works. This is really beautiful.
this is really great Anisa! Thank you for sharing it.
She has some great points. I just began taking an environmental sustainability degree and I will definitely take her point of view with me. Thanks for sharing !
Thank you! Buying ‘green’ is not going to save the world/environment/economy. It’s still consumerism. Considering the products entire life cycle: from materials, creation, shipping AND the products useful life are the key point of difference. Being ‘green’ is different from being sustainable.
So glad somebody finally said it! Clothing is not sustainable! There are better ways of doing things, yes, but the mere act of producing clothing goes against saving the earth. She is very interesting and authentic, even if her designs are out there. thanks for sharing!
fascinating. thanks so much for sharing!
very very relevant and I agree the design process needs to change, However this is also good promotion for her brand so I agree about 75% !!
Thank you for sharing this, I totally agree.
genius!
